I have a Gateway laptop here that after every reboot, loses its wireless connection. I have to open up the Microsoft wireless utility and then use the keyboard command Fn + F2 in order to get the wireless to come back up. This is very annoying as it should stay on all the time without me having to constantly, after every reboot, use the function key to turn it back on.
I’ll report back. I tried flashing the BIOS with latest available on Gateway site but it told me it was the wrong version. Not good. Going to try installing a new wireless card and see where that takes me.
