I’m working towards becoming Apple certified

So my job kind of forced me into taking over Apple repairs.  It’s not like it’s a bad thing, it really isn’t.  I’ve had a Mac Book (late 2008 model) for almost one year.  It’s been a great machine and hands down, without a doubt, I would purchase it again.  In fact, I’m trying to save up to either get the 15” MBP or the new 27” iMac (which I must admit has one of the most beautiful screens ever produced [LED 16:9]).

So far I’ve worked mainly with a few Power Mac G5s.  I did take a part a recent MacBook which had some coffee spilt on it.  Unfortunately I was not able to save that MB.  I have a few others lined up.  So far in all honesty, it isn’t as bad as I thought it was.

For a long time now I’ve wanted to get into repairing Macs.  It’s been in my mind for I don’t know how long, maybe the past 2 years.  I just haven’t had the time or motivation to do it.  On top of that, what would I practice on?  I learn best hands on.  I finally kind of got forced into it.  I just said screw it, put my game face on and took it to task.  So far it’s been okay.  Google has undoubtedly helped me a million times over.  Where would this world be without the great G?  LOL.
