I just learned how to build my own computer, and my first project was with the emachine. After I finished installing everything, the computer ran fine for a few weeks. Now when I plug up the power supply, the Cpu comes on by itself. To make things worse I can't turn it off at all. No matter how long I hold the SW/DC switch, it boots right back up. I even tried the same process grounding myself, and using a screw to power it off and on, but only for the same results. On top of that, to make things worse than that, the whole while I am troubleshooting, the video has not shown at all, even though it is pluged up. So, the two main things are: 1. My computer will not power off. 2. The Video will not show on the moniter at all. I also am working on an emachine desktop. Everything is still running normally.
