Ihave the same problem now on two computers and have had it two or three times before that. Recently on one of the current two, I was able to stop the error message by uninstalling the McAfee Security Center software provided free to subscribers to comcast.net service. I haven't gotten to trying it on the second system.
I've used several antifirus and registry cleaning programs. None of them was of any help on either of the current machines.

Hi, I just red this topic, and after reading it, I decided to give it a whirl. I tried to look for:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Pml Driver HPZ12/Start

But once in the 'Services' I noticed that I don't a 'PML Driver HPZ12'. Thought I do have a Lexmark 8300 Series on another computer, and I am also connected to the same printer via the network, though I didn't install no program for this printer
