HELP!!!!!!! ok, whenever i try & login i get a server error page with big red writing and with loads of stuff about runtime errors ,custom errors, confuguration and loads of other stuff i cant understand. i think this is a virus……….my page is still there but i cant log in. cant look at anyones photos either.cant contact myspace.this stupid page comes up everytime. how do i get rid of the virus? does anyone know? or is anyone else havin the same shit?

It does sound like you have a virus. What operating system are you running?
Secondly do you have all of your Windows Updates?
Are you experiencing any of these errors on any other web pages besides MySpace?
If you’re able to, I highly suggest downloading Ewido aka AVG Anti-Spyware from: http://downloads.grisoft.cz/softw/70/filedir/inst/avgas-setup-7.5.0.50.exe.
Install that program, update it, and run a scan while in safe mode. In order to get into safe mode you need to restart your computer and as soon as it restarts continue to hit the F8 key on your keyboard. You’ll eventually see a list of options; you want to select safe mode. Go into safe mode and log into your user account. From there run the AVG progrma and have it do a complete scan. Let it remove whatever it finds and restart. Check to see if it’s any better.
i’m on a mac, i have no problems anywhere else, just myspace
will try the anti spyware thing, hopefully its not a pc thing
i thought macs were safe from all thei virus stuff?

If you’re on a Mac, I’m not too sure what else you can do. I highly doubt that you’re infected with a virus or a piece of spyware. Do you know if you have all of your updates that Apple puts out? Try using FireFox or Opera if you can to browse the site.
yes, i switched to fire fox but still no joy! This is really odd?
i have to check myspace at internet cafes now…….its ridiculous!

Hi guys. My computer is doing the exact same thing as cheers, A’s computer was doing…whenever I log into myspace I get the runtime errors page. My mac is acting normal other than that…I can’t figure out what is wrong. I noticed your post was from back in March…so did you ever get it fixed? And if so…how?
I just downloaded fire fox b/c I was having the same problems logging into myspace. But even when I use that it still says runtime error.
