I want to know why Nintendo cannot keep up with demand. I do not understand how a huge company, like Nintendo, cannot produce sufficient quantities to keep their DS Lite in stock.
First and foremost, the DS Lite was not just released this past Christmas. It was released quite some time ago. I clearly do not understand why there are none out there on the shelves right now. I go to each and every store such as GameStop, Sears, and even K-Marts and Wal-Marts and they’re ALL sold out! That is just mind blowing that Nintendo is that short sighted that they can’t comprehend how popular their tiny hand held console is. I mean come on, give me a break. They are not Sega or Atari, I really expect MORE from a company of this stature.
I’m ready to give in and just buy a PSP and then an Xbox 360 boycotting both the Wii and the DS Lite if Nintendo cannot keep up with demand that badly.
Everyone I ask, “So when will you guys have more DS Lites?” I get the same answer, “Well you have to check back frequently, we get shipments in every day but we don’t know what we’re getting.”
NINTENDO GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND RAMP UP PRODUCTION AND OR OPEN MORE FACILITIES IN TAIWAN SO YOU CAN GET MORE OF THIS STUFF OUT THERE DOOR.
More production = more sales = profit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
