So I just got Road Runner “Turbo.” The speeds are 8Mbps download and 512kbps upload. I tested the speeds out on the newsgroups and I have a significant increase in speed. With my 5Mbps cap prior to upgrading I was getting roughly 580KBps to sometimes 600KBps, now I’m getting around 850KBps to around 900KBps. That is a nice increase for $9.95 a month. Now it’s time to go and play!

Here’s a temporary solution to the activation problem:Regedit:
Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration\{30120000-0011-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}
Delete the following keys:
DigitalProductID
ProductIDNow start an Office 2007 program. It will ask you to enter a new product key. Enter the following:
RQCRJ-FCTYM-V3PDF-GRD46-9YHXQOffice will run through some procedures to finalize the license. Then you’re good to go!
Note: The product key shown here is publicly available on Microsoft’s website. (HERE).
This method can also be used to change your product key back to the one issued to you when the activation servers are working again. Have fun.
That is a direct copy and paste from the www.neowin.net forum. It works like a charm and you should be able to now use Office 2007 Beta 2 TR until the end of the time bomb which is sometimes in February of 2007.
