According to this IGN article, it seems that way. What more can they improve on though? I bought one recently and the game play is stellar, the sound is great, the built in WiFi of the Mario Kart version is awesome. I guess the design of the outer shell could use a redesign. It is rather bulky. I saw a prototype of a DS SP that someone had put together in Photoshop. If it is anything even remotely close to resembling that, Nintendo lovers will be in for a big surprise.
