One final down, one more to go

I took my Intro to Networking final today.  I believe I scored at least an A.  After I got through with the final, I walked outside and saw people standing around.  They were all in my class and we discussed what we answered.  I was suprised to find out that the answers that almost everyone I talked to was pretty much identical to mine.  I was content and happy after that.  I had a hard time at first with the binary to decimal and binary to hex conversion.  However, something just clicked in my head and I eventually was able to do it.  For this class’ mid-term I did not study.  I vowed after receiving a horrendous grade that I’d study for the final.  I followed through and ended up confident going in to this final that I was going to come out ahead.  I’m glad I studied.

Opteron 144 socket 939 @ Mwave.com

Mwave.com has the AMD Opteron 144 socket 939 64bit processor @ $163.00 + shipping.  From what I’ve been reading this is not the infamous chip that can push 3.0GHZ so just beware of that before buying.  However, I did read that this chip can push a heavy overclock.  I’ve heard you can at least get a one extra GHZ out of this chip.  It’s clocked at 1.8, so I would not be suprised if you got at least 2.7-2.8 with air cooling.  If you buy the chip, report back in the comments section with the stepping and what type of overclock you got so other readers will know.  Thank you.
