AIM Triton beta release 0.9.12 released today

Direct download to AIM Triton build 0.9.12. This version of AT does indeed fix the issue that it had with Microsoft’s OneCare firewall. For some odd reason, version 0.8.8 would not sit well with the OneCare firewall. Whatever AIM did it is completely fixed now. I’m happy.

Office 12 beta invites sent out

According to a forum post at Neowin.net people have started to receive their Office 12 beta invites. I haven’t and I applied to be a beta tester. I’m hoping I will get in on the second string of invites like I did with OneCare.

WASHINGTON - Scientists have discovered a biological brake for a hunger hormone: a competing hormone that seems to counter the urge to eat.

Microsoft Corp. is concerned about rootkit features in CDs from Sony BMG artists and is evaluating the situation to see if any action needs to be taken, a spokesperson said.
